  • He thinks that biryani is the best dish that humans have created and can eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, every day of the week.
  • Rudraansh likes to get a feel of a new destination's culture through its food and drinks, and he thinks its best done at local watering holes than fine dine spaces.

Experience

Rudraansh has over eight years of writing experience, and he began his career as a copywriter at Ogilvy & Mather before moving on to work on a Netflix film. There, he was inspired to combine the two things he loves most: food and films. He went on to make a documentary on an Indian fishing community known as the Kolis, which offers a glimpse of Mumbai's coastal underbelly. His favorite part about the experience was spending a day fishing in the middle of the ocean with the Kolis before going back to cook and eat the day's catch with them. He has since written scrips for various food shows and documentaries, and his words have appeared on websites like MovieWeb and FilmCompanion. He also writes about all things food, films, and culture on his Substack newsletter called Know What?, which essentially serves as an outlet for ideas that don't find a home in other publications.

Education

Rudraansh has a bachelor's degree in filmmaking from Bond University in Australia.
