Experience

Hayley is an award-winning wine, spirits, and wine country travel writer and television contributor. After spending a decade as an executive in the television industry, Hayley left her position as vice president with the Nielsen Company to pursue her interests within the wine industry. She spent ten years writing the wine and spirits column for D Magazine in Dallas, Texas, while running Dallas Uncorked, a successful 501c3 not-for-profit wine education organization. Hayley became the weekly wine contributor for the regional Texas television shows "The Broadcast" and "Texas Daily" in 2012, moving to KXAS-TV/NBC DFW in 2016. In 2014, she was invited to join the Dallas chapter of the prestigious food, beverage, and hospitality organization Les Dames Escoffier and served on the board the following year. Telling the stories behind the world's great wines drives Hayley's everyday life, which she shares on her award-winning blog, Red Wine With Breakfast.com. When asked what her favorite wine is, she often says, "The wine in my glass right now," as every glass is an adventure.

Education

Hayley received her Bachelor of Arts in History from Texas Christian University. She is a Level 2 Certified Sommelier through the International Sommelier Guild, a Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators, and a Spanish Wine Scholar, receiving accreditation with the highest honors.
