Experience

While Maria has been writing professionally for the past five years, she's been a writer as far back as she can remember. In college, she minored in playwriting and has since written two feature films. She was once named "Screenwriter to Watch" at the Austen Film Festival for her first feature film. As a writer, her work often gravitates towards the more delicious topics, and she soon found her niche researching and contributing to the world of food. Prior to her work with Static Media, she regularly contributed articles and blog posts to the hot sauce company, African Dream Foods. She now is a writer for Tasting Table features, the perfect home for her foodie tendencies. She's obsessed with all things steak (having now interviewed several experts on the topic), and loves a deep-dive into the food trends and habits of yesteryears.

Education

Maria has a bachelor's degree in acting and playwriting from the New York Film Academy.
