Martha started writing nearly 10 years ago in Ireland, where she was raised. She was the deputy editor of Student Independent News during her time in college and interned for The Connacht Tribune, NBC10 WJAR, and others. She was also one of the first Irish students to intern at The Guardian and NBC. After finishing her master's degree, Marth worked as a reporter for one of Ireland's biggest newspapers, The Irish Times. She moved to San Francisco in 2022 and joined The Mercury News and then IrishStar.com, where she covered everything from Hollywood red carpets to NBA games.
Education
Martha has a bachelor's degree in journalism, english and history from the University of Galway and a master's degree in journalism from Dublin City University.
