Experience
Deepak spent 25 years inside some of India's most influential newsrooms, from Mid Day and Mumbai Mirror to The Indian Express. His love of recipe adaptation and sharing meals with friends inspired him to open up his own restaurant, with a menu that was a tribute to family recipes from across India, the kind that are passed down in handwritten notebooks. As a journalist for Tasting Table, he often reflects on this experience when covering a wide range of topics, from recipe round ups to product reviews and breaking news within the restaurant industry.
Education
Deepak received a bachelor's degree in English literature at St Xavier's College in Mumbai.
