• Hu Kitchen

Calling all cavemen: On Friday, this Union Square-area restaurant debuted. The menu is focused around "real, unprocessed food." Think juices, chia seed pudding , fermented foods and lots of kale.

  • Tout Sweet Opens In Macy's San Francisco

Top Chef Just Desserts winner Yigit Pura has just opened Tout Sweet, a boutique in Macy's that is clearly modeled after the high-end patisseries of Paris. The desserts, particularly the ones incorporating citrus flavors, are as photogenic as their maker, but they taste as good as they look.

  • Chobani Soho

We were skeptical of an all-yogurt bar. However, the execution here is cute and the toppings, both sweet (pineapple, coconut, hazelnuts and agave) and savory (cucumbers and olive oil), are both inventive and delicious. We love that you get to keep the glass jars the yogurt comes in.
