The Corner Store is testament to the power of charm, reclaiming a corner of Geary that has felt almost desolate. It's no diss on the restaurant to say that the sum is greater than its parts: solid New American food, soda-fountain-inspired cocktails, a heated patio, even warmer service. The fried-chicken sandwich with warm potato salad is worth a lunchtime trip. See our previous coverage.
