  • In addition to his past hands-on experience in the food service industry, whipping up coffee drinks, bartending, and serving in fine-dining establishments on the East and West Coasts, he also worked at Trader Joe's, a popular destination for foodies.
  • Since moving to Western Massachusetts in 2015, he's become a mushroom forager and learned the joys of preserving, pickling, and cooking with fresh ingredients from his local CSA.

Education

Mark holds a bachelor's degree in comparative literature, German, and psychology from Case Western Reserve University. He earned an MFA in creative writing at the New School, with a concentration in poetry.
