Allison is a writer and editor with seven years of experience in both digital and print media. She began her career at Sarasota Magazine, a website and print publication where she covered local news and events as well as food and health topics. Since then, she has specialized in health, nutrition, and lifestyle journalism, joining the editorial teams at LIVESTRONG.com and Well+Good to create original, expert-driven content for both websites. As a freelance writer and editor, she has also contributed to several top wellness and lifestyle brands, including Health.com, Everyday Health, Lose It!, and Only In Your State. She strives to create content that informs and inspires readers to live fuller, healthier lives. While contributing to Tasting Table, she enjoys writing about new restaurants, trending food and beverage recipes on social media, and featured or limited-release menu items at popular food establishments.
