Alexandra Shytsman is a recipe developer, food writer, photographer, and founder of The New Baguette (a plant-based recipe site). Her goal is to promote wellness through food and inspire people to cook more plant-centered meals. She loves to combine nutritious ingredients with smart cooking techniques and global flavor profiles, turning them into craveable meals. Alex is the co-author of The Complete Vegan Cookbook, teaches plant-based cooking classes at NYC's Institute of Culinary Education, and contributes to sites like The Kitchn and Food52.
Education
Alexandra Shytsman has a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and a certificate in Writing for Food Media from the Natural Gourmet Institute.
