Experience

Lewis has been an avid home cook since he was 10 years old. He started working in restaurants as a high schooler, and has cooked on a line, ran his own taco business out of a dorm room, and sold caviar (among other items) to customers at Russ and Daughters. He really got into food writing at Wesleyan, and has continued to freelance for outlets like AuthenticFood.com after graduating.

Education

Lewis got his bachelor's from Wesleyan University in English literature, with a concentration in creative writing.
