When looking for ways to brighten up — figuratively and literally — your morning cup of coffee, an easy route is to start with the best coffee creamer brands you know of and then choose your favorite flavors from among those brands. And certainly, many of us daily coffee drinkers get into routines where we fall back on the same couple of go-to creamers and are skeptical about branching out from there. But new creamers — both new flavors within existing lines as well as entirely new lines — are being introduced all the time, and you shouldn't sleep on what you might find to be a new addition to your permanent rotation.

2026 has seen a number of great new coffee creamers so far, some that jump on trendy flavor bandwagons — banana and ube being two big ones — and others that are joining an already crowded market of a specific flavor but still justify being included among the best of those. For this list, we started by looking at some of the coffee creamers that we've given the best reviews thus far, while also including some we haven't covered yet but still deserve to be mentioned among the best new creamers of the year.

Chobani Chocolate Covered Strawberry Creamer

Chobani released two new coffee creamer flavors in July: Chocolate Covered Strawberry and Toasted Coconut Vanilla. Of the two, our reviewer preferred the former, praising how the strawberry flavoring came across as natural rather than artificial. They did note that the strawberry overpowered the chocolate a bit, but didn't see that as a bad thing in this case. After all, a bite of a chocolate-covered strawberry would be mostly strawberry with just a hint of chocolate, so that disproportionate flavor balance makes sense for this creamer.

As far as its interaction with the coffee itself, the Chobani Chocolate Covered Strawberry creamer does a good job of complimenting the flavor of the beverage rather than drowning it out. Your mileage may vary on this if you're the type who wants your coffee to taste as little like coffee as possible and prefer to mostly taste the creamer, but you can always just add a few more splashes of it to achieve that effect.

Either way, if you like your creamers sweet and fruity, this is definitely one you should check out. As for the Toasted Coconut Vanilla, it certainly isn't bad, but it's not as good as the Chocolate Covered Strawberry and doesn't quite justify itself as one of the year's best new creamers.

Chobani Ube Sweet Cream Creamer

Chobani has been working hard to expand its line of coffee creamers this year, and following its two summer additions, it added a Ube Sweet Cream creamer in September. Ube, a purple yam that is native to Asian tropical regions and has long been utilized in Filipino cooking, has really gotten globally trendy this year. And like many flavors that get buzzy in the U.S., ube has now found its way into the coffee creamer aisle.

In Tasting Table's review of the Chobani Ube Sweet Cream Creamer, our reviewer tried the creamer in both hot and iced cups of coffee. In the hot cup, they praised the way the creamer added a "nice nutty depth" to their cup, as well as a satisfyingly subtle sweetness. But the reviewer preferred it in the iced coffee, writing about how those nutty and subtly sweet notes were joined by an extra level of creaminess that didn't seem as prominent when added to hot coffee. Ultimately, though, this creamer comes recommended no matter the temperature of coffee you're drinking.

Some of you are already lovers of ube. Others have never had it and have been curious to try it in some fashion. But regardless of where you stand, the Chobani Ube Sweet Cream creamer is a great fit for either end of that spectrum.

International Delight Apple Butter Coffee Cake Creamer

There are a number of great ways to use apple butter, but we bet you never considered putting it in your coffee. Well, now you can, thanks to International Delight's Apple Butter Coffee Cake creamer. You might be tempted to dismiss this creamer as trying to do too much, but all you need to know is that the signature taste of apple butter — its spiced apple flavor — is what comes through the strongest with this creamer. If that sounds appealing, you won't be disappointed by this item.

What about the coffee cake part? It seems like that was added to the flavor profile of this creamer to make it a bit sweeter, and perhaps to tone down that "spice" undertone that not everyone is fond of with creamers and the like. If the spice in pumpkin spice rubs you the wrong way and you would otherwise enjoy more pumpkin-flavored coffees and creamers without it, you'll know what we're talking about here.

To that end, we believe apples are as prominent an autumnal flavor as pumpkins are — and as such, we need more apple-flavored drinks for the fall. Why should pumpkin spice have all the fun? Just make sure you grab some Apple Butter Coffee Cake creamer as soon as you can, as it's a limited-time fall flavor, and we don't really have a timetable for how long it will be available.

Natural Bliss Vanilla Chai Latte Creamer

For those who prefer their coffee creamers to have as few ingredients as possible for a more natural construction, you're likely already familiar with Natural Bliss' line of four-ingredient creamers. What you might not know is that in January 2026, Natural Bliss added three new options to that line, and Tasting Table reviewed those flavors shortly after their release. And while our reviewer had nice things to say about all three flavors, they stated that the Chai Vanilla Latte got the closest to actually tasting like its namesake. (That wasn't fully the case with the Chocolate Caramel Truffle and the Hazelnut Cookie Crumble.)

Getting to recommend the Chai Vanilla Latte also works out nicely because it's the only chai creamer on this list so far, and we feel that any comprehensive lineup of creamer suggestions should include a chai. As for the Natural Bliss Chai Vanilla Latte in particular, our reviewer wrote that it "nailed that sweet, spiced, creamy chai latte profile, and there are plenty of sweet vanilla notes to back it up as well."

As a note, our reviewer did say that they needed to add a little more than their usual amount of creamer to get the level of flavor and creaminess they look for in a creamer. So that is something to be aware of if you prefer to just do a quick splash of creamer in your coffee — this might not be the creamer for that.

Starbucks Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso Oatmilk Creamer

Starbucks has an impressive line of non-dairy, oat milk-based creamers for those who either can't have dairy or simply prefer not to. And the brand added a new flavor to that line this year with its Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso oat milk creamer, which we say is one of the best so far. But don't just take our word for it — Allrecipes gave the creamer its Golden Cart Award for the best new coffee creamer of 2026.

As any brown sugar lover knows, there is something quite unique about the sweetness that it brings versus traditional white sugar. And those caramelly, molasses-y notes really sing in this creamer, which then elevates once that hint of cinnamon comes in on the back end of each sip. Again, you don't have the thick creaminess of traditional creamers, but if you're into oat milk creamer, that won't be a deal breaker since you're already accustomed to that difference.

Of course, this creamer is meant to make your at-home coffee taste like the popular Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso from Starbucks. And it gets pretty close to that, though it'll depend a bit on your coffee choice. But what's unique here is that that drink is exclusively a cold drink in Starbucks cafes, so this creamer gives you a chance to try a hot version of the Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso. And it definitely works.

Califia Farms Organic Banana Creme Almond Creamer

Banana first got trendy as a flavor for coffee drinks in 2025, though it's still going relatively strong — as evidenced by how many banana-flavored creamers there still are right now. Tasting Table ranked five banana-flavored coffee creamers in September, and we gave Califia Farms' Organic Banana Creme Almond creamer the top spot. As it's an organic creamer, our reviewer was optimistic for a more natural banana flavor that hopefully came from real ingredients. They were happy to discover that it was indeed the case, with real banana puree bringing that authentic flavor that is nearly impossible to get right with artificial versions.

In addition to this creamer packing a real, delicious banana flavor, it also proves surprisingly creamy for an almond milk-based creamer. You sometimes needed to add extra creamer to replicate the creaminess of real dairy creamer, but that isn't the case here, which is a huge plus. As for the "creme" of the creamer, there is also a vanilla, almost marshmallow-like flavor happening as well, which our reviewer likened to a banana moon pie.

It seems like most of the banana creamers have some sort of extra angle to make them stand out rather than just being straight-up banana, and going with a vanilla marshmallow cream is a big part of what elevates Califia Farms' banana creamer over its competition. The fact that it also happens to be both organic and non-dairy is a nice bonus.

Natural Bliss Caramelized Banana Bread Creamer

Up to this point, any creamers that we culled from rankings we've done have automatically been the ones that finished on top, and we did that for the previous entry. But we had to stretch a little bit here and also give a shout-out to our runner-up for best new banana creamer of the year – Natural Bliss Caramelized Banana Bread Creamer — as it's just too tasty to be excluded on a technicality.

For starters, it's another of Natural Bliss' four-ingredient creamers, so you know you're getting just the good stuff without a lot of fillers and preservatives. Which, again, is especially critical with banana-flavored items, as there's no substitute for using real banana. Though you only get the nebulous "natural flavor" in the ingredient list, it's clear upon tasting this creamer that it means natural banana flavor. It's also worth noting that our reviewer said this creamer has "the best banana bread flavor in the bunch," which reaffirms why we needed to include this one, too.

As for that aforementioned twist that we said each banana creamer offers? For this one, said twist suggests that this creamer is trying to replicate banana bread specifically, and a caramelized version at that. This manifests in a butterscotch underpinning to the banana flavor that is really quite delicious. And finally, this one being a milk-based creamer will certainly have some people preferring it to Califia Farms' option by default.

Trader Joe's Caramel Macchiato Creamer

A flavor doesn't have to be a bold new experiment or try to join a buzzy trend for us to give it its due as one of the best new creamers of the year. Case in point: Trader Joe's Caramel Macchiato creamer is a long-established fan favorite coffee creamer flavor as a whole, but a new addition to Trader Joe's line of creamers. And perhaps not surprisingly, it is an excellent Caramel Macchiato creamer.

The quality of this creamer won't be a surprise to existing fans of Trader Joe's creamers, as the store chain has been impressing in that arena for a while now — including an inexpensive Chobani dupe that customers love. Trader Joe's clearly isn't trying to be a disruptor in the coffee creamer game. It just wants to deliver top-notch versions of already beloved flavors, and it's been doing a great job of that. Particularly, it's done so with its own Caramel Macchiato creamer that has been getting lots of social media love for what it brings to a familiar table.

It's actually somewhat surprising that Caramel Macchiato wasn't one of Trader Joe's first coffee creamer flavors, as it's almost as prevalent as French vanilla and sweet cream in terms of the standard options. But the chain must have wanted to put in the time to make sure it got it right, and boy, did it ever.

Lactaid Sweet Cream Lactose Free Creamer

A cynic might assume we made a point of including a lactose-free creamer. But Lactaid's Sweet Cream Lactose Free Creamer didn't just make our list of the best new creamers of 2026 out of some sense of obligation. In Tasting Table's ranking of the best sweet cream coffee creamers we did earlier this year, it not only finished at a respectable No. 3, but was the highest-ranked of any of the new 2026 creamers that made the list.

Even more impressive, and speaking to how good this creamer is, is that the reviewer isn't lactose-intolerant. As pointed out in their write-up, they wouldn't normally go out of their way to have lactose-free creamers for that very reason. This made their enjoyment of the product that much of a surprise to them, thus speaking volumes about its quality to everyone else. They also explained how the creamer's sweetness is "complemented by a brightness you don't always find in coffee creamers," and pointed out that there are even notes of salt, which is a nice touch for balance.

Finally, they noted that the creamer's lack of thickness inherent to it being lactose-free actually works in its favor. The last line of their write-up on this creamer says it perfectly: "Whether you can handle lactose or not, this is a great creamer to have on hand when you want some additional texture and taste in your cup of coffee without it being too heavily flavored."

Methodology

First and foremost, all creamers considered for this list had to be new for 2026. They had to either be part of a whole line of creamers that were introduced this year, or had to at least be an entirely new flavor that made its debut this year within an existing line. Returning seasonal offerings from previous years were not eligible.

Next, we looked through all of our coffee creamer reviews and rankings that we did this year, and culled from those articles the ones that finished at or near the top of said list (some didn't finish at No. 1 but were the highest-ranked on that list that was a new flavor for 2026) and/or got a rave review from one of Tasting Table's reviewers.

Lastly, we looked at a few creamers that we hadn't previously written about, but have been raved about on social media, in reviews from other outlets, or were favorites among our staff but just hadn't been covered. Each creamer had to be both tasty and flavorful on its own, as well as elevating the coffee it was added to, creating a satisfying taste and texture in the blended cup.
