Costco is once again delivering a crazy deal; this time it comes to Jack Daniel's whiskey. Per a recent Instagram post, at least one Costco location is selling the Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye for just $44.99, a deal that's set to stay in place until November 1, 2026. It's unclear which locations are participating in the deal, but Costco Same-Day lists the bottle for $53.59 online — so if you do find the discounted bottle, you'll save almost $9.

Needless to say, customers are in awe of this low price. "Now that's a damn good deal right there," wrote one user in a comment. Another person commented, "Ok I'll need to get this asap." When the Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye was first added to Jack Daniel's permanent lineup in 2023, its suggested retail price was $59.99. The whiskey was then spotted at Costco in early 2024 selling for the slightly discounted $57.99 — making Costco's latest price the best deal of the decade, so far. 

One shopper noted in the Instagram comments that the whiskey's price at Costco "just keeps going lower and lower." The original poster also noted this is the lowest price for the Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye that they had ever seen.

Costco has a wide lineup of brand-name, affordable liquors, and in many states you don't even need a membership to buy alcohol at the store. "Both the booze and wine selections are first rate and less expensive than other markets and liquor stores," wrote one Costco customer on Reddit. It's not just the regularly available stuff; back in 2024, the retailer carried a limited edition of Jack Daniel's whiskey, so the selection is definitely worth checking out for hidden gems.

Beyond brand names, Costco sells liquor under its private label, Kirkland Signature — and the lineup is anything but sparse. Customers say there are five Kirkland Signature whiskeys worth adding to your cart. If you're specifically interested in the heavily discounted Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye, though, this whiskey is made with 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% barley, then aged in handmade white oak barrels.
