You can take your Whopper from so-so to sensational with just two magic words. It's not "pretty, please," although that will be much appreciated by Burger King staff. No, if you really want to upgrade your Whopper, all you need to say is "heavy all."

When you ask for "heavy all," you're ordering extra of everything that comes on your burger. That means you will get extras of the standard toppings that already come on a Burger King Whopper (ketchup, lettuce, mayo, onion, pickles, and tomatoes). Remember, if you want cheese, you'll have to ask (and pay) for it, but some Burger King Whopper lovers say it's better without cheese anyway. 

Asking for "heavy all" is one of our top tips for ordering a Burger King Whopper because it simplifies the ordering process and takes the guesswork out of building the perfect burger. Instead of having to individually ask for extra toppings, you can simply say "heavy all" and make life easier for you and the cashier. It might sound strange to say "heavy all" at first, but don't worry, most BK employees are well-versed in what it means, and there is even a "heavy all" button they can tap on their screen.

The cost of asking for "heavy all" at Burger King varies by location and whether you're ordering online or in person. If you're going through the drive-thru or walking in, you have a better chance of getting at least some of your extras for free. On Reddit, Burger King employees say the "heavy all" button doesn't charge the customer for extra tomatoes and lettuce.

However, BK managers don't like that toppings are given away for free with the "heavy all" screen shortcut, so they urge their workers to enter each customization individually to ensure that customers are charged for every extra they receive. But, on Reddit, employees confess that they tend to just hit "heavy all" because it is way more convenient than making multiple entries. 

And, if you're ordering your Whopper online or via the app, there is no way to hit "heavy all." You can enter in extras, but you will be charged for each topping. When we tested this method ourselves on the app, the price of our Whopper increased by $3.00, as each extra was an additional 50 cents (yes, including the ketchup!). This means that this is one of those cases where it's certainly worth ordering in person to see if you can get around some of these additional charges.
