Finding solace in words on paper, Melody has built an extensive portfolio writing and editing topics that range from politics and breaking news to travel and entertainment. Her varied projects have landed her in some memorable situations, like sampling and taking note of tasty dishes at a Singaporean hotel restaurant while battling terrible jetlag, getting lost while searching for a Hong Kong speakeasy she was supposed to feature, getting stuck in a Wall Street elevator while reporting on neighborhood news, and so on. Despite covering almost everything under the sun, she's found the most inspiration while interviewing those in the food and beverage industry and has since turned her focus to that realm. She enjoys immersing herself in the food world as a features editor for Tasting Table.
