Whether you're a collector of vintage Pyrex or just loyal to this kitchenware that's been in circulation for more than 100 years, chances are you've lost or broken a lid. Fortunately, replacement lids for Pyrex are readily available. The original glass lids for rare and valuable pyrex dishes will take a little extra time and effort to locate, but plastic replacement lids are made to fit all Pyrex pieces. And for the widest selection and fastest shipping, Amazon stands out as the best option.

To begin your search for a replacement lid, turn over your Pyrex and look for the model number on the bottom. We researched one of the most popular Pyrex pieces — a 9x13, three-quart, casserole dish. Going directly to the manufacturer's website is a good start. On the Pyrex site, the replacement lid for this dish is $12.49, with a $100 minimum purchase for free shipping, and a delivery window of 5 to 12 business days.

Amazon offers a pyrex replacement lid for the same casserole dish at a price of $12.99, with 2-day shipping for Prime members. Non-labeled replacement lids were plentiful, with an "overall pick" coming in at $19.49 for two lids, with 2-day shipping. Amazon boasts a large selection of replacement lids to fit Pyrex baking dishes, mixing bowls, and storage containers in multiple dimensions, and even offers fun, retro colors like turquoise, white mint, and orange.

Other ways to match your modern and vintage Pyrex with replacement lids

Aside from the manufacturer's site and Amazon, we found replacement lids at both Wayfair and Walmart. Wayfair offers a limited selection of Pyrex replacement lids, but they come in bundles for various sized containers — not a bad deal if you have Pyrex matching the exact model numbers the lids would fit, but not great if you're seeking a specific lid. Prices for bundled lids ranged from $24.99 to $26.99.

Walmart had similar pricing to Amazon's for the 9x13 casserole dish lid ($12.99), and features a selection of other types of replacement lids. If you're a Walmart member, shipping time was about the same as Amazon, but the inventory wasn't as varied. Both Wayfair and Walmart require a minimum purchase of $35 for free shipping.

Collectors of vintage Pyrex will likely find it difficult to replace lids that are authentic to the time period. Sites such as eBay and Etsy are your best bet, although you might get lucky and find vintage Pyrex lids at thrift stores. However, we found these MYPY lids for vintage bowls (compatible with Pyrex 403, 402, and 401 vintage, round bowls) at Amazon. The lids come with a flip-up tab, are semi-transparent, and dishwasher safe.

If you have Pyrex you don't want to get rid of simply because you've lost the lids, there's another way to make your Pyrex last way longer. Amazon offers reusable silicone stretch lids for food storage. Stretch lids are particularly good for fitting to non-standard sized kitchenware, allowing for great coverage on any of your Pyrex treasures, vintage or modern.
