Costco has a wide variety of prepared meals to feed a crowd, with everything from pasta to its famous rotisserie chicken. And we found plenty of worthy prepared meals at Costco for you to try, including some that are especially good for cozy nights in. If you want a saucy barbecue feast, the prepared meal that provides a rib-sticking flavor bomb is the St. Louis-Style Ribs.

St. Louis-style barbecue is defined by its pork spare ribs, which have more marbling than baby back ribs. This extra fat makes them especially rich, juicy, and flavorful. Preparing them at home outdoors usually requires a grill or smoker, but Costco's St. Louis-Style Ribs are pre-seasoned, precooked, and require only an oven to warm them up. We should note that these ribs are available on the Costco Same Day website at the time of writing, though in-store stock may vary.

Each pack comes with ribs smothered in a Souvlaki-style dry rub with plenty of flavor, costs around $25, and easily feeds five to six people. To reheat these ribs, simply bake them at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes, wrapped in foil so that they don't dry out. If you're hankering for barbecue but don't want to brave the outdoors to fire up the grill, these ribs are a great way to get your fix while keeping cozy indoors. Plus, the 25-minute warming period gives you time to whip up a few side dishes.

Customer reviews and side pairings

While Costco used to offer more traditional St. Louis-style spare ribs with a sweet sauce to slather over them, this latest version uses a dry rub with Mediterranean flair. And a glowing review on Instagram calls the Souvlaki-style dry rub "a total game changer" for the ribs' flavor profile. The review goes on to compliment the ribs' unique flavor thanks to the "Souvlaki seasoning [that] brings the perfect herb and garlic punch." Mediterranean flavors will still work well alongside your favorite barbecue sauce, although they're surely flavorful enough to eat dry.

You can pair them with another of our favorite prepared meals (macaroni and cheese) and store-bought coleslaw for a more well-rounded smokehouse experience from the comfort of your home kitchen. You can bring some greens to the meal by steaming some frozen vegetables or throwing together an easy salad kit while the ribs warm up.

If you don't have a Costco membership, you won't be able to get your hands on these St. Louis ribs. But that doesn't mean you can't make a batch of baked ribs from scratch with our recipe for baked St. Louis-style ribs. This homemade recipe gives you a chance to make a different spice rub while also controlling the amount of salt you put on it.
