Hut Dust is a dry seasoning blend shaken over the top of Pizza Hut's Chicago Tavern Style pizzas. It's made from a blend of dry cheeses including Parmesan, Romano, and what the ingredients list as "hard grating cheese." It also includes cellulose, garlic, spices, salt, and parsley. Though Pizza Hut does not list the specific spices included in Hut Dust, Pizza Hut employees and customers have speculated online that it includes herbs like oregano and basil.

Hut Dust's savory blend, which Pizza Hut calls "cheesy garlic Hut Dust seasoning," boosts the flavor of any pizza. Adding it was one of our tips for getting the best pepperoni pizza from Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut only filed the trademark application for Hut Dust in 2024. Chicago Tavern Style Pizza was introduced at Pizza Hut in June 2024, and it appears that Hut Dust debuted at the same time.
