Shoppers have been posting on social media that the huge three-pound pie has popped up on warehouse shelves for its good old price of $5.99 as early as August 14 While Thanksgiving (and even Halloween) are still months away, some fans just can't wait to get their hands on this treat before summer is up.

One shopper in Pacoima, California posted on Instagram that Costco's pumpkin pie is in stock at their local warehouse. "Sold, give me 5," one commenter wrote on the Instagram post, while another fan simply wrote, "Like swooooon." Others said they plan to grab a pie or two as soon as they pop up at their own local shop.

On the flip side, other shoppers said that it's way too early for Costco to sell an iconic fall dessert, with some feeling more conflicted than others. "Too early, I'm not gonna rush into it yet... maybe," one Instagram user wrote. However, the launch is pretty much on schedule for the chain. Late August is typically when Costco releases this bakery favorite, and in 2024, the Kirkland pumpkin pie returned on August 19, so what's a few days earlier?
