There's plenty to benefit from for those investing in an Amazon Prime membership, with speedy free shipping, Prime Day deals, and discounts at Whole Foods. In July 2022, Amazon added a Grubhub deal for the ages, offering Prime members a free year of Grubhub+. Now, those who used this deal last year can enjoy another year as Amazon extends its original offer.

Better yet, those who take advantage of the offer by July 5, 2023, can now get 24 more months of Grubhub+ for free. Don't panic if you miss the original cutoff — Amazon Prime members who claim this offer on or after July 6 will get a standard 12 months free.

The Grubhub+ plan (usually $9.99 per month) offers free delivery on every order over $12. Available in over 4,000 cities, Grubhub+ users also get exclusive food deals and promotions. According to the press release sent to Tasting Table, this select deal has saved Prime members an average of $230 on meal delivery and coupon promotions in a year.

The sweet benefits of Grubhub+ for free

The press release also noted that Grubhub and Amazon are finding even more ways to collaborate than just rolling two memberships into one. The "Tune in & Takeout" program is one example of this, where Amazon's original movies and tv shows come with food pairings from local restaurants. Take the "Masiel Tov Martini," a pastrami and cocktail meal that Prime members could order and enjoy with the final season of "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel." Customers can expect more of these iconic pairings as the year goes on, featuring returning shows like "The Summer I Turned Pretty" and others.

To become a Prime member, you can expect to pay $14.99 a month or $139 per year, while students can pay $7.49 a month or $69 per year. Each comes with a free trial that runs for 30 days. And if you're already a Prime member looking to take advantage of this deal, you can visit the company's website to see if you're eligible and sign up.
