Chocolate lovers are well served at Walmart, where shoppers can find cheap chocolate bars you'll actually want to buy. One standout is the bettergoods Premium Swiss Milk Chocolate Bar. If you want to indulge without breaking the bank, this fair trade certified bar is the way to do it. It is made in Switzerland with cocoa beans from Ecuador and Ghana, and each bite is smooth and creamy. 

Walmart's product listing describes the bar as bean-to-bar, a process often associated with gourmet, craft chocolate. The ingredient list is short and free of hard-to-pronounce additives. At $4.44 for a 3.5-ounce bar, it is a reasonable price for Swiss-made chocolate, which is widely regarded as some of the best in the world. Scoring a bar like this during a routine grocery run is a total win. Walmart's bettergoods umbrella includes a lineup of many chocolate products with add-ins and flavors like Cookie Butter Filled Milk Chocolate, but the classic milk chocolate bar is a solid place to start. 

When we tried the bettergoods Premium Swiss Milk Chocolate Bar, we praised the bar's pleasant aroma, cacao pod motifs, and silky texture while also noting that the clean melt makes it a fine choice for baking. Customers are equally enthusiastic. "One of the best milk chocolate, simply delicious," wrote one customer on Walmart. "Delicious creamy milk chocolate! Loved it, and ordered again!" added another. "This Walmart chocolate gives much more expensive brands a run for their money," wrote one reviewer on YouTube, suggesting that the brand can hold its own against pricier chocolate brands. 

Not every taster is sold, however. One described the bar as waxy, but plenty of other samplers say it is worth trying, especially the classic milk chocolate version. When the price is this right, picking up a bar to sample, stash in the cupboard for a baking project, or gift to a friend becomes an easier decision.
