It's always exciting to watch as stores' fall inventories roll in for the season, but if there's one grocery store that knows how to do fall items right, it's Aldi. Between Aldi's lineup of must-try pumpkin spice products and the variety of products hitting Aldi shelves in October, you never know exactly which spooktacular treats and snacks you'll find there.

To help make your fall snacking decisions a bit easier, I've tried and ranked 15 Aldi fall 2026 products to pinpoint which ones are most worth getting (and which ones you can skip). Some of the products on this list have been on Aldi's shelves in years past, while others are new arrivals for the fall 2026 season. Whether they're pumpkin spice-infused, Halloween-centric, or simply fall-themed generally, these products are all seasonal Aldi finds that you won't find on the shelves year-round.

Most of the foods on this list fall into "sweet treat" territory, but a couple of products lean toward the savory side. I based my rankings largely on which items tasted the best, whether they tasted like the flavors they were supposed to, and how much they felt like a true fall-themed item.

15. Aldi Pumpkin Spice Cake Pops

I am not a pumpkin spice hater, nor am I a cake pop hater. So, naturally, I figured I'd at least minimally enjoy Aldi-brand Pumpkin Spice Cake Pops. Boy, was I ever wrong on that. I don't think I've ever despised a pumpkin spice-flavored product so much in my life. I almost have to give Aldi credit for managing to make a product that stood out this much (for the worst possible reasons).

Upon taking a bite of one of these cake pops, I was met with a flavor that I can best describe as perfume-like. It felt like someone had found a cheap pumpkin spice-scented body spray from the clearance section of a store and sprayed it directly into my mouth. The flavor here was so bizarre; it teetered between absurdly sweet and overly spiced. It's the one product among this entire bunch that I wanted to spit out immediately. So, for obvious reasons, the Pumpkin Spice Cake Pops take the dead-last spot on this list.

14. Moser-Roth Fall Favorite Truffles

It's tricky to rank an item as a single entity when it offers multiple flavor options, which was the case with Moser-Roth's Fall Favorite Truffles. However, considering that two of the three flavors in this "café latte" chocolate truffle pack are ones I hope to never put in my mouth ever again, it was easy to label this product as an all-around miss.

The three flavors in question are Marshmallow Latte, Pumpkin Spice Latte, and Maple Syrup Latte. The maple-flavored truffle was the only one I somewhat enjoyed. I'm partial to maple flavors in general, but the maple truffles in this bunch had a particularly pleasant and sweet maple taste with slight coffee notes.

In contrast, the Pumpkin Spice Latte flavor missed the mark. It leaned into clove-heavy territory without a whole lot of sweetness to balance it out. Marshmallow Latte was also a dud, offering a cloying vanilla flavor above all else (and with very little coffee flavor to complement it). So, despite enjoying the maple truffle in this collection, I felt the other flavors were unpleasant enough to place this product in second-to-last place.

13. Choceur Pumpkin Pie Caramel Clusters

Choceur's Pumpkin Pie Caramel Clusters threw me for a loop. While I didn't find their flavor offensive like I did with the cake pops, I just couldn't get behind their texture. Biting into one of these caramel clusters had me genuinely concerned about the integrity of my teeth. The caramel was so tough to bite through that I had to take a break from trying. Once I did manage to snag a proper bite, the cluster was difficult to chew on; the hard, tough caramel stuck to my teeth in different ways with every slight movement of my jaw.

It was a shame these clusters had such an unappealing texture; otherwise, their fall flavors were quite nice. The pumpkin spice flavor was surprisingly subtle, which I found refreshing given how strong the flavor typically is. But that crusty, super-hard caramel is something I can't overlook, and that feature alone cost this particular snack some serious points in my overall ranking.

12. Choceur Fall Pie Slices

Another day, another fall-themed confection from Choceur. In this product, eight Belgian chocolates come in the form of little pie slices, and these bite-sized pieces immediately charmed me with their cuteness. However, taste is what truly matters here, and the taste of these sweet slices left me feeling divided.

There are four flavors in this pack: Chocolate Cream, Pumpkin, Salted Caramel Pecan, and Lemon Cheesecake. Pumpkin and Salted Caramel Pecan both left much to be desired. They were slightly too sweet, and the supposed pecan flavor didn't taste like pecan at all. Chocolate Cream offered up a nice, smooth chocolatey profile, but not much beyond that.

To my surprise, Lemon Cheesecake was the standout flavor. It delicately balanced distinct citrusy notes with richer chocolate ones, making for a delightful blend of sweetness and tang. Considering that only one flavor in this pack truly impressed me, and said flavor was the least fall-inspired one in the mix, I didn't feel inclined to rank Fall Pie Slices too high here.

11. Benton's Crispy Pumpkin Cookies

This might be something of an unpopular opinion, but I don't understand the hype surrounding crispy cookies. I personally love a good crispy edge around an otherwise soft cookie, but I find that straight up crispy cookies often end up being too brittle, hard, and dry for me to enjoy.

Case in point: Benton's Crispy Pumpkin Cookies were both incredibly thin and incredibly brittle. I did not like the texture of these cookies at all, and I don't think "crispy" is too accurate of a description, either. "Crunchy" or "hard" feel more fitting. That said, the pumpkin flavor was excellent in these. The cookies had a nice, subtle earthiness to them with just the right balance between sweetness and spice.

Ultimately, if you happen to enjoy crunchier cookies, these might just be right up your alley. I was torn between liking the flavor and hating the texture, but ultimately, I found the crunch of these cookies to be so unpalatable that they warranted a place in the lower-mid section of this list.

10. Clancy's Bats & Ghosts Crunchy Potato Snacks

I'm a sucker for just about any food whose shape fits a theme. As such, I was immediately drawn to Clancy's Bats & Ghosts Crunchy Potato Snacks. There's no denying how cute these little ghost crisps are, but while their flavor wasn't too spooky, it wasn't exactly amazing, either.

This is the type of product where what you see is really what you get. I didn't expect something labeled as a "Crunchy Potato Snack" to reinvent the potato chip wheel, of course — Bats & Ghosts certainly doesn't do that. However, the chips still offered a tasty, mild, potato-forward bite with a proper crispy (not just crunchy) texture. Despite these chips being "sea salt" flavored, however, I felt they could have been much saltier. While Clancy's cute and inoffensive Bats & Ghosts are a great option for a themed lunchbox, they're nothing worth flocking to the store over.

9. Bake Shop Halloween Mini Cupcakes

I'm never one to pass on grocery store cupcakes, though I'm not sure if it's the nostalgia factor or the flavor that keeps me going back to them. Bake Shop's Halloween mini cupcakes feature a mix of chocolate and vanilla bases with purple and orange frosting. While I'd never expect a store-bought mini cupcake to not be sweet, some cupcakes balance that sweetness a little better than others do. These mini cupcakes can only be described as pure sugar bombs.

After taking one modest bite each of the chocolate- and vanilla-flavored cupcakes, I had to tap out. That's not to say that the cupcakes didn't taste good. Between the moist cake base and the rich frosting, they were pretty delicious. I'm sure those with sugar tolerances higher than mine could easily throw back a couple of these cupcakes without a problem. However, for those who can only handle sugar in moderate doses, be warned: if you find the average grocery store cupcake to be too sweet, then you'd likely find these Bake Shop Halloween cupcakes to be super too sweet.

8. Bake Shop Halloween Sugar Cookies

After my complaints about how much I dislike hard cookies, you might be wondering why I'd rank Bake Shop's Halloween Sugar Cookies so high up. These cookies might look like they'd break a tooth at first bite, but they're not nearly as hard as they seem. In fact, I ended up enjoying both the texture and flavor of these Halloween-themed confections quite a bit.

These sugar cookies aren't soft like Lofthouse cookies are, and they do have a slight bite to them. However, their hardness immediately gives away to a softer, more buttery inner texture, akin to a classic butter cookie. The sprinkles on top not only add some fun Halloween flair, but they add a crispiness to each bite that I personally enjoy.

I won't sit here and say that these are the most amazing sugar cookies I've ever had, but they're perfectly palatable in both flavor and texture, and they're a good option when you want a spooky treat but don't want to bake (or decorate) a whole batch of cookies yourself.

7. Bake Shop Pumpkin Cookie Sandwiches

Bake Shop's Pumpkin Cookie Sandwiches intrigued me immediately. At first sight alone, I was already imagining a delectable pairing of soft, spiced cookies and cream cheese frosting melting in my mouth. For the most part, these whoopie pie-esque cookies delivered on the flavor front, but I do wish they leaned into their fall flavors a little bit more.

My biggest critique of these Pumpkin Cookie Sandwiches is that the pumpkin cookie part didn't taste a whole lot like pumpkin, or spice, or anything similar to either of those flavors. They tasted somewhat spiced, but they were mostly just sweet. The cream cheese frosting in the middle could have had a bit more tang, and the cinnamon note that was meant to be in the frosting didn't exactly shine through. Overall, these confections rank where they do because they don't quite meet their full fall flavor potential, even though they are undeniably delicious.

6. Bake Shop Apple Fritters

I've been seeing a whole lot of love for Bake Shop's Apple Fritters this season, but I didn't end up liking them quite as much as others did. That isn't to say that these pastries were "bad" by any means — after all, they've managed to make sixth place in this ranking. But there were certain textural issues that I couldn't look past. To me, they were significant enough to prevent the fritters from ranking any higher than this.

To start with the positives, I very much liked the potent taste of apple in these fritters. I was hoping for a stronger cinnamon flavor, however, to better match a fall-like flavor profile. I can't complain too much, though, since the fruity apple flavor on this pastry was downright tasty.

My biggest issue was with its dense, somewhat dry texture. You can only expect so much freshness from a store-bought baked good, of course, but I think there was room for some more moisture here. Great flavor, but lackluster texture ultimately landed these fritters in a middling spot in this roundup.

5. Specially Selected Fall Harvest Macaroni & Cheese

Of all the foods that could receive some fall treatment one way or another, I'd argue that macaroni and cheese is an underrated option. The simple, relatively neutral cheesy base of a classic mac and cheese dish works well with all sorts of hearty, fall-inspired flavor infusions like squash and pumpkin. The pumpkin-squash-cheddar combination most definitely works in Specially Selected-brand Fall Harvest Macaroni & Cheese.

Full disclosure: I didn't whisk the flavor packet with milk and butter well enough, so my mac and cheese turned out a bit clumpy, hence its appearance in the picture above. Despite the clumps, the flavor was there. I loved the earthy influence that the pumpkin and squash flavors brought to the table, and they also offered a pleasant savory depth with a touch of sweetness, too.

My only real qualm with this item was its lack of a more herbaceous influence, like sage or rosemary, or something that might accentuate the fall flavors better. That's a bit of nitpick, though — overall, this is a tasty boxed mac, and it's a great dupe for Trader Joe's Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese.

4. Clancy's Maple Sweet Potato Chips

I love chips in just about any shape, size, and flavor. Sweet potato chips are no exception, especially because they tend to be more nutritionally dense than regular potato chips are. I also happen to love all things maple, so I was pretty stoked to try Clancy's Maple Sweet Potato Chips. I was hoping for a nice balance between sweet, savory, salty, and earthy flavors, and that's exactly what I got. That's a big part of why I ranked these chips so high.

I would have ranked these chips even higher had they been a touch less sweet, but they were still perfectly tasty with just enough of a savory, salty balance to remind you that you are, in fact, eating potato chips. The texture is what really sold me on this snack, though. Sweet potato chips can be way too hard, but these ones were much crispier than they were crunchy. I found myself going back for more bites without even thinking about it, which is a dangerous sign of a very tasty snack.

3. Bake Shop Apple Cinnamon Muffins

As a self-proclaimed lover of grocery store muffins, especially blueberry ones, I seldom walk away from a new muffin-tasting experience feeling disappointed. While I tend to gravitate towards flavors like chocolate chip or blueberry when I buy muffins, I can't deny the sheer deliciousness that is an apple cinnamon muffin, a cozy baked good steeped in fall flavor.

I'm pleased to report that Bake Shop's Apple Cinnamon Muffins aren't just tasty for their fall-focused flavor profile. They're downright delicious on all counts. Much like with the Apple Fritters, these muffins had a pleasantly potent, fruity, and apple-forward flavor to them that wasn't overwhelming. Where they excelled even more than the fritters did, however, was in how well their flavor was enhanced by the simple addition of cinnamon. Pair that apple-cinnamon profile with a perfectly moist crumb, and you've got a product worthy of third place in this ranking.

2. Parker Dell Maple Pecan Dessert Dip

In my experience, dessert dips tend to be a fun idea in theory, but in practice, they end up being way to sweet. Sometimes, it's difficult to imagine what you might pair the dip with. Despite being such a fan of maple-flavored treats, I was not incredibly optimistic going into Parker Dell's Maple Pecan Dessert Dip. Fortunately, my worries were swiftly dispelled.

While there's no denying that this dip was indeed sweet (it's meant to be served as part of a dessert, after all), it had a creamy, cool, tangy profile to it that kept it from being cloying. When I first sampled and photographed the dip, I didn't have anything to pair with it, so I just tried it alone. It impressed me without being paired with anything.

This dip's rich sour cream and cream cheese base was the perfect backdrop for crunchy pecans enveloped in a sweet maple infusion. Some time after my initial taste test, I paired this dip with apple slices. It was, hands down, one of the tastiest fall-themed snacks I've had in a long time.

1. Bake Shop Pumpkin Sliced Loaf Cake

I enjoyed sampling plenty of the fall products on this list, but the one that ended up earning my top spot leans more toward the realm of bakery classics: pumpkin loaf cake. The Bake Shop version of this cake impressed me immediately, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I kept gravitating back to it.

On the packaging, this sliced loaf cake is described as both savory and sweet, and I think that balanced blend is what makes this product so successful. Paired with its sweetness, this loaf's earthy, pumpkin-forward flavor made it stand out like nothing else I sampled in this roundup; the just-right spice blend played an important role in my decision to rank this treat above the rest.

I also found it remarkable how well cinnamon and clove complemented one another in this cake, despite both flavors being quite dominant. One could reasonably enjoy a slice of this loaf cake as a dessert, of course, but it would also work just as well as a snack or a breakfast item. It's a perfectly on-brand fall treat that's as delicious as it is versatile.

Methodology

Since so many of the products on this list were in the realm of baked goods, I tasted them over the course of a few days to give my taste buds a break and avoid getting sugar fatigue. I noted my initial impressions of each product as I went, whether positive, negative, or somewhere in between. I also considered which products I'd purchase again and which ones had me coming back to them for seconds.

While exceptional flavor was, of course, a heavily weighted factor in my rankings, my decisions came down to more than just flavor. Texture played a big role in certain products; if I struggled to bite through an item or found its texture unpalatable, I couldn't reasonably rank it very high. Since this ranking is fall-centric, I also considered the strength of each product's fall essence and seasonal appeal, with some products losing points because I felt they could have leaned into a more compelling fall flavor profile.
