Transform Empty Yogurt Containers Into A Clever Storage Accessory That Adds More Countertop Space

If you go have tons of empty yogurt containers leftover from your morning Greek yogurt breakfast bowls and are looking for a creative way to repurpose them right in your own kitchen, you're in luck. Yogurt containers make for the perfect storage accessory that saves counter space if you know how to use them. With a little bit of DIY finesse, it's easy to transform yogurt containers into cute storage baskets that look great and help you clear clutter from the counters. To do so, all you need is one or two washed and dry large yogurt containers (16- or 32-ounce containers work well), as well as some decorating supplies like fabric, glue, and scissors.

If your yogurt container is made from a thicker plastic or durable glass, feel free to skip this step and go straight to the decorative step, wrapping it in wicker, string, or decorative paper or fabric.  

Leftover glass yogurt containers are perfect for painting as well. Just be careful when hanging or mounting repurposed glass yogurt containers, since they are more susceptible to breaking.
