Entenmann's Debuts Ready-To-Bake Cookie Dough In 4 Scrumptious Flavors

If you're a fan of Entenmann's Little Bites, Baker's Delights, or Donuts, you're going to want to try the brand's newest launch, which comes just in time for the fall baking season. Entenmann's already sells pre-made cookies in flavors like chocolate chip, black and white, and rainbow — but, you can now bake its cookies in the comfort of your own home, per a press release. On August 16, it debuted four new flavors of refrigerated, ready-to-bake cookie dough, which are now available in over 2,000 Albertsons-owned stores across the country.

The new cookie doughs were created to channel the same flavors as Entenmann's signature desserts and are meant to have a soft, chewy texture once baked. "Our ready-to-bake cookies are designed to bring pure joy and an unforgettable taste experience to every bite just like our iconic baked goods, and we can't wait for our fans to savor these one-of-a-kind treats!" said Alicia Rosas, VP of Innovation at Entenmann's parent company, Bimbo Bakeries USA.

Inspired by Entenmann's current desserts

The new refrigerated cookie doughs come in four delicious flavors: Glazed Donut Cookie, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Chocolate Brownie Cookie, and Cinnamon Toffee Cookie. The first flavor features white chocolate chunks, while the brownie one is an entirely chocolate dessert. While the brand hasn't officially announced it, you may also see a birthday cake cookie flavor with sprinkles in stores or coming soon. "With the support of our licensing partners, we're excited to introduce both nostalgic favorites and innovative flavor combinations in this new, convenient format," Rosas said in the press release. Each package of dough is 14 ounces and will give you 12 baked cookies — and they need to be kept cold, so make sure to toss them in the fridge as soon as you get home from the store.

It's not hard to see where the brand drew inspiration from, as Entenmann's already offers a plethora of donuts, brownies, and of course, cookies. In fact, it debuted a line of ice cream sandwiches based on its donut and cookie flavors in May 2023. If you browse the brand's brownie selection, you'll find Brownie Chocolate Chip Cakes and the freshly-released Mini Sprinkled Iced Brownies, whose flavors may show up in the new chocolate brownie cookie dough. It may not be the first time Entenmann's has released spinoffs of its own baked good flavors, but the new cookie doughs sound so tasty, they're sure to be just as delicious as the ice cream sandwiches.
