'Home Alone 2' Hotel Suite At The Plaza

Merry Christmas, you filthy animals

In a definitive ranking of Christmas movies, everyone knows Elf and Love Actually take a back seat to the best holiday film of all: Home Alone 2. And for the dedicated who re-watch Kevin McCallister roam through NYC on an annual basis, The Plaza Hotel is finally letting you live out your 90s fantasies.

In honor of the movie's 25th anniversary (yes, it's been that long), the famed hotel is taking itself back to 1992 with a Home Alone package it's calling Live like Kevin. The stay includes a boxed set of the complete film series, a commemorative backpack for running through the city and that iconic room service sundae cart—which you'll preferably eat in bed while watching your favorite gangster flick. You can also add on extra options including express passes to the Empire State Building and a personal Home Alone-inspired limo tour. Meanwhile, the rest of the hotel will be dressed up for the experience: The Todd English Food Hall will pay homage to the era with upscale takes on SpaghettiOs, Hot Pockets and Lunchables.

Guests can book the package for visits starting next month through October of next year. You might need to "borrow" your dad's credit card for this one though: Rates start at $895 a night, before those extra VIP options. Luckily, The Plaza is holding a Kevin McCallister look-alike contest on November 27, of which the winner will receive a complimentary night's stay, in addition to having the honor of lighting the hotel's Christmas tree.
