This "beer & breakfast" on Baxter Avenue has a few tastefully designed rooms but is better known for its breakfast, lunch and dinner. (Also: beer.) It shares a common backyard space (and ownership) with Holy Grale, a converted Bardstown Road church, which is now a temple of good beer and bar snacks. Chef Andy Myers heads the gralehaus kitchen, offering innovative twists on Southern comfort food, such as house-made biscuits with duck sausage gravy, fried egg and duck cracklings. In addition to beer, gralehaus also has a selection of interesting and innovative beverages including malts and carbonated teas.
