A 'Star Wars' Pop-Up Lands In London This June

'Star Wars' pop-up lands in London this June

Star Wars fans, listen up: Just when you thought the buzz of The Force Awakens might be quieting, a new Star Wars-themed pop-up restaurant in London is going to ramp the hype back up.

The dinner series, called The Fork Awakens, will run for six nights between June 23 to July 2. Tickets are currently on sale for £55, or about $80. If you're worried about getting tickets (or getting airline tickets to London and then scoring dinner tix), we have one thing to say : "Do or do not. There is no try."

The four-course interactive dinner will feature Tatooine muddy soup, Hutt dogs, Wasaka berry pudding and lightsaber drinks.

The exact location of the dinner will be announced 48 hours prior to the event. Attendees won't find themselves in a Mos Eisley cantina (which may or may not be gravely disappointing depending on which kind of fan you are) but will dine in a version of "Darth Vader's kingdom," the event website says.

With a new Tim Burton-themed bar opening in New York this month and a Saved by the Bell pop-up running from June 1 through August 31 in Chicago, this summer is shaping up to be a season of movie- and TV-themed dining experiences. As for The Fork Awakens dinner series, with the unique fervor that only Star Wars can elicit, "the force is strong with this one."

As long as Emo Kylo Ren makes an appearance, we're sold.
