It's also coated in edible gold, because why not?

Call it MSG or call it ease, but there's something perennially magical about a grocery store rotisserie chicken.

Now, just in time for the season when every second feels like a celebration, supermarket giant Aldi is selling a golden, Prosecco-infused chicken. We're going to go out on a limb and say it pairs well with a glass of bubbly.

Technically, this isn't too far of a stretch, as many classic chicken dishes call for wine—adding a balance of acidity and sweetness to the overall dish. But it's not every day that you get to match your main course with your New Year's Eve decorations, so enjoy this bird in all its gold-dusted glory.

Sadly, you have to be in the UK to buy one yourself, but if you're willing to put in some effort, Top Chef's Fabio Viviani has a recipe for you.
