Recipe: Hot Honey-Bourbon Slushie

Vanilla ice cream gets a kick from chile-infused honey in this icy drink

July 11 (aka 7/11) brings back memories of jumbo icy drinks from everyone's favorite convenience store. It also reminds us of one of our favorite Beyoncé songs. Combine the two and slushie magic is born. Vanilla ice cream is blended with ice, chile-infused honey and smoky bourbon to make a creamy slushie perfect for a hot day. And we're crazy in love with it.

We crave the spice that hot honey adds to this rich slushie and use Bee Local—its integration of vinegar adds a healthy dose of tang to the heat.
