Not feeling inspired by your usual dishes? Here's what's for dinner.

Bad news, friends: We have one more huge snowstorm in store, getting ready to drop 10 to 12 inches over the Midwest and East Coast tonight.

April Fools! It's the first day of April, which means the debauchery of All Fools' Day is in full swing. But take a break between making David Hasselhoff's head shot a coworker's desktop background and swapping your roommate's shampoo for mayo to make dinner tonight, because the best pranks don't happen on an empty stomach.

① Appetizer: Burrata with Grilled Bread and Anchovies
In some European countries, they celebrate "April Fish" instead and run around trying to tape paper fishes to their friends' backs (no, really, we're not kidding about this). Anchovies are too slippery for Scotch tape, so we pair them with thick sourdough and melt-in-your-mouth burrata instead.

② Main Course: Fried Oysters with Spicy Mayonnaise
This dish is bound to be the next Chicken of the Sea conundrum: Is it chicken-fried oysters or fried chicken oysters? Turns out that both are involved. Plus, they look similar post-frying, so you won't know if you're going land or sea until you bite through the crisp golden brown exterior.

③ Dessert: Rhubarb Custard Fool
Our favorite kind of April fool is one that doubles as dessert. No one is quite sure how the dessert originated, but here's what we do know: It's cool and creamy, it's from England and we'll eat it any day of the year. Pull another fast one on your dinner guests by mixing the rhubarb into softened store-bought vanilla ice cream instead of making your own custard.
