- Inspired by all of the incredible chefs she has had the pleasure of working with throughout the years, she created the St. Paul Square Dinner Club in San Antonio, hosting one-night-only dinners where chefs get to flex their culinary creativity and the guests get to enjoy a truly luxurious meal.
- As a major foodie, Kimberly's favorite thing to do is visit her home state of Washington and go fishing, crabbing, shrimping, oyster shucking and gardening with her Dad — and then create beautiful meals with all of it.
- In addition to her food writing, she has also self-published a novel, entitled, "The Rain Queen".
Experience
Kimberly has been a writer all of her life, and first began writing at the age of five. She has over 10 years of experience as a food and travel writer for both national, regional and local publications. After launching her media company, Sutapants Productions, she developed an online food show called Homegrown Chef, which highlighted local chefs and their unique culinary dishes, and is currently in the midst of development on a documentary about the new industry of Texas oyster mariculture. She not only enjoys being a food writer and working with chefs in various capacities (such as events and business projects), but she is passionate about sustainability and how both professional and at-home chefs can take steps towards sustainable food preparation and production.
Education
Kimberly earned a bachelor's degree in the field of mass and organizational communications at Eastern Washington University.
