Brianna is a freelance writer based in New York City. She has over five years of formal experience penning articles for web-based publications, starting in 2018 with Our Community Now, covering regional happenings across DC, Maryland, and Virginia, where she resided at the time. She writes for the Mashed brand, contributing pieces on grocery products, drive-thru menus, and popular American cuisine ranging from sandwiches to gyros.

Education

Brianna has a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in creative writing from the University of Oregon, where she served as the senior poetry editor for the campus's literary magazine. In 2014, Brianna received a scholarship for the Walter and Nancy Kidd Creative Writing Workshop, her college's esteemed creative writing program.
