NYC's New Bacon Restaurant

Because bacon makes everything better

Calling all bacon lovers: There's a new restaurant open today in New York City that features a nine-course bacon omakase menu. Yes, you read that correctly, a full menu dedicated to bacon.

Founded by Phillip Cho and Anna Lee, Belly is not shy about making bacon the star of every dish. This casual spot in Williamsburg features both à la carte and tasting menus by executive chef Brian Crawford; however, we assume most diners will be attracted to the nine-course menu.

Guests can expect fun and adventurous dishes like bacon carpaccio, bacon sushi and Pasta alla Belly, which combines house-made spaghetti and pork sausage with a signature creamy kimchi sauce. Beer, wine, soju and sake pairings crafted by beverage director Yannick Terquis are available for an extra cost. Make sure to leave room for dessert, as you won't want to miss out on what the restaurant calls the hurricane doughnut: a sweet, kimchi-glazed Korean doughnut sprinkled with chives and sesame seeds, and served with a dollop of smoky whipped cream.

The resto has also teased that a small breakfast menu featuring breakfast sandwiches will be launching later in the summer and be available inside the restaurant, as well as at its take-out window. One thing's for sure, this summer is going to be epic.
