Jacques Torres New NYC Chocolate Museum

Hands-on chocolate-making classes will be offered

Last summer, an ice cream museum opened near the Whitney, and tickets sold out almost instantly. The museum was a pop-up, so, sadly, it's now gone. But the city is getting a permanent chocolate museum, courtesy of cocoa master Jacques Torres. The Choco-Story New York, The Chocolate Museum and Experience with Jacques Torres, as it's called, will be at Torres's sprawling store and chocolate workshop on the far West Side, just a block from the Children's Museum of the Arts—a perfect pairing for young museum goers.

The museum will offer nine premium chocolate tastings by a professional chocolatiers and guests can register for a chocolate making class. Tickets are now on sale and we anticipate they are going to sell out fast.
