Tabitha Brown Is Bringing A Line Of Vegan Groceries To Target

Folks make the proverbial transatlantic voyage that is "going vegan" for all sorts of reasons. Climate change activism, dietary concerns, and conscientious consumerism are all solid motivators for people contemplating making the switch. In 2022, about 5% of the U.S. population said they follow a vegetarian diet and 2% identified as vegan.

It might seem like a small demographic, but nearly 60% of U.S. consumers said they ate less meat in 2022 as part of pursuing a healthier lifestyle. Whether you're a card-carrying vegan or simply looking to cut back on meat and dairy, Tabitha Brown is rolling out a new line of vegan groceries specifically designed with longtime and aspiring plant-based foodies in mind.

Tabitha Brown is an actress and social media personality known for her innovative approach to a vegan lifestyle. She's been nicknamed "America's Mom" for her cheerful, fun-loving attitude; she even makes something called Sunshine Seasoning with McCormick spices. Clean eating doesn't have to be so serious, says Brown's persona, and fans seem to agree.

Both of Brown's books hit the New York Times' Bestseller list and her Instagram totes 4.2 million followers. Fans might see Brown hosting the vegan cooking competition show "It's CompliPlated" on Food Network. But, now, shoppers can see her on an everyday basis at the grocery store. Tabitha Brown's new line of vegan groceries is about to hit the shelves at Target. So, what can fans expect to see?

Making veganism more accessible

The Tabitha Brown for Target Vegan Food and Kitchen Collection features 40 new vegan grocery items, reports the vegan business magazine Vegconomist. Butternut Squash Bisque, Dill Pickle Organic Popcorn, hummus, potato salad, various trail mix flavors, chickpea chili, vegan cream cheeses, and stuffed ravioli will be coming to Target shelves bearing 100% vegan nutrition labels. Brown's line also includes an array of vegan meats including different flavored sausages and "ground beef" patties. The products are set to debut on January 8.

Target announced its official ongoing partnership with Tabitha Brown earlier this year via a press release. In 2022, Brown released a Target-exclusive lineup of home decor and clothing, and this new grocery line marks a continuation of Brown's years-long business relationship with the chain. "I want to encourage y'all to be more intentional with what you feed your body so you can go on and shine your way. Set your table, set your intentions," the food personality told the Vegconomist.
