Camp'd Out Glamping Service

Canvas chalets and an on-site maître d' are just the beginning with Camp'd Out

Your mom may have sent you to summer camp with all the best intentions—a nonflammable sleeping bag, a can of Off! and a duffel bag full of shorts with your name sewed into them—but chances are you've never been nurtured quite like you will with Camp'd Out, the new glamping service that'll set you up with all the essentials to camp in luxury.

The Los Angeles-based outfitter, founded earlier this year by Kitty Medina and inspired by her travels to South Australia, where luxury camping is having a moment, Camp'd Out elevates the camping concept with just the right amount of roughing it. Medina has thought of everything, from the Instagram-friendly desert motif all the way down to an optional "camp butler," who can build fires, lead nature walks and even assist with meals.

As for your wigwam, Camp'd Out offers spacious canvas yurts for the destination of your choosing—recent favorites include Joshua Tree, San Onofre and Big Sur. And when we say "spacious yurts," we mean fully decked-out bivouacs with comfy queen-size beds, area rugs, lounge chairs, knit blankets that double as stylish ponchos and other amenities you never knew you'd want in the wild. Perfect for a quick escape, the Camp'd Out experience has creature-comfort add-ons that include fire pits and s'mores, Nomadica rosé, and sunrise yoga and coffee.

Unsurprisingly, a service like this doesn't come cheap. Rates start at $650 for a fully furnished yurt, pitched in your choice of campsite. And campers must pay a location fee.

Head on over to Camp'd Out for more details.
