'Top Chef' Launches Battle of Alums vs. Newcomers
Chefs, please pack your knives and head to Charleston. This season of Top Chef will pit eight new chefs, who have probably never had to live through the pain of a Quickfire, against eight past contestants, Eater reports.
There’s no word yet on who from past seasons will be brave enough to return to the show in the name of cash and prizes, but Bravo released the names of the new chefs: Silvia Barban from Brooklyn, Emily Hahn from Charleston, Jamie Lynch of Charlotte, Annie Pettry of Louisville, Sylva Senat from Philly, BJ Smith from Portland, Jim Smith of Montgomery (Alabama) and Gerald Sombright from Marco Island (Florida).
Let the gravy wars start.
