Ina Garten's New NYC Apartment Is Everything

Naturally, the kitchen is a dream come true

We know you’re used to fawning over Ina Garten cooking up a storm in her fabulous East Hampton kitchen, but now you’ve got a new place to direct your admiration and #lifegoals envy. The Barefoot Contessa has just purchased an incredible apartment on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. In case you had any doubts, the kitchen is a dream.

According to The Observer, the two-bedroom pad cost a cool $4.65 million, and the real estate listing describes the kitchen as recently renovated and “perfect for an enthusiastic cook.”

Other perks include large windows that provide great light, high ceilings and no fewer than three fireplaces. So when she’s not donning linen and putting on fabulous outdoor dinner parties, Garten will be cozying up with her husband, Jeffrey, in front of the fire.

The apartment formerly belonged to John and Nancy Novogrod, the latter of whom used to be the editor-in-chief at Travel & Leisure. We couldn’t imagine a better person to take the helm of that beautiful kitchen. For photos of the whole apartment, see here—and dream on.
