Police Find $22,000 Of Nutella In Car Sting

The thieves were selling the spread for half price

Canada's King of Car Thieves, Balwinder Dhaliwal, was recently arrested along with 22 associates for stealing 60 cars, including a Lamborghini worth $340,000. During their investigation, police found $5 million worth of cash and stolen or contraband items, including the cars, plus heroin, cocaine, marijuana and $22,000 worth of Nutella.

"Yes, I said Nutella," Detective Sergeant Paul LaSalle tells The Star, clarifying things. The band of thieves was allegedly selling the chocolate spread for half its value—though to whom is unclear. There's apparently a black market for Nutella. We'll file that under things we never thought we'd hear.
