Starbucks UK Signs Campaign To Welcome Breast-Feeding Mothers

Starbucks UK will soon welcome breast-feeding mothers into its shops

Though it's legal to breast-feed in several states like New York, nearly every parent or friend of new parents has heard stories about restaurant or café employees asking them not to breast-feed at their establishment or making them feel uncomfortable about it.

Starbucks, which operates 800 stores in the UK, just signed on to a campaign to change that, The Guardian reports.

Sarah McMullen of the National Childbirth Trust, which is behind the campaign explains:

Starbucks will be training its baristas on how to support parents feeding young children in their stores in the UK "without judgment." Hopefully, that philosophy will spread across the pond.
