Salt & Straw Ice Cream At Disneyland

There's no going back to Dole Whip after this

Get your fix of Dole Whip while you still can: Once Salt & Straw, the renowned, Portland-based ice cream company, arrives in Disneyland later this year, there's just no going back to pineapple soft-serve.

In an announcement released earlier this week, owners Kim and Tyler Malek revealed plans for their newest scoop shop in the Downtown Disney District just outside the park. Look for flavors that made the dessert duo famous to begin with: small-batch, handcrafted options like gooey chocolate brownie and roasted strawberry with toasted white chocolate, plus other flavors that will be unique to the new outpost.

"The location will offer another fresh, new and fun experience," Brent Davies, general manager of Downtown Disney, says. Though, if for some reason tackling a giant waffle cone in the happiest place on earth isn't up your alley, you can always get a few pints shipped straight to your door
