Chipotle's Testing Frozen Palomas

For those looking for a side of booze with their burrito bowls

Its queso might have gotten off to a notoriously shaky start, but that hasn't stopped Chipotle from trying out a whole slew of new menu items at its NEXT test kitchen in NYC.

According to Food & Wine, the company is testing out a drink it's dubbing the Frozen Paloma Margarita. While typically Palomas and margaritas are separate cocktails, the chain is combining the two into a slushie made with grapefruit, agave nectar and Sauza tequila.

A tester from The Daily Mail notes the cocktail is sweeter than a regular Paloma, yet  still strong enough to deliver a buzz about halfway through the drink (sounds like you may actually be on to something, Chipotle). And at $6.20 for a 14-ounce cup, the Frozen Paloma Margarita might be exactly what the chain needs to bring back its devoted fans—at least, those looking for a side of booze with their burrito bowls.
