Despite arriving on the calendar a month ago, spring seems to have finally actually arrived with warmer weather and cold treats.
Tomorrow, Carvel will host its Free Cone Day from 3 to 8 p.m. Fans of the ice cream cake destination can get a junior-size soft ice cream cone with vanilla, chocolate or the company's new limited-edition flavor, cookie butter.
The company will also sell $1 coupon booklets for those who plan to make Carvel a regular stop all summer long. The proceeds will go to the American Red Cross.
