NYC's Restaurants For Thanksgiving 2016

For those who would rather make a reservation than roast a turkey

Put on your favorite stretchy pants and prepare your stomach—the biggest eating day of the year is nigh. Believe it or not, Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and it's time to come up with a game plan. For many, that means defrosting the turkey, baking pies and figuring out how much wine to buy. But for the less culinarily inclined, stick to what you know best: making reservations. Leave the prepping, cooking and cleaning to the professionals, and enjoy a perfectly prepared holiday meal without having to lift a single pan. Here are our recommendations for the best restaurants in New York City to eat at on Thanksgiving Day.

Be sure to check out the full list in DINE.

Maialino: You can opt for either an Italian American Thanksgiving or the Maialino Classics. The former features all the standard favorite ingredients—Brussels sprouts, pumpkin, cranberries, etc.—and the latter is for pasta lovers. There's also a special menu just for kids, so everyone wins.

The Breslin: April Bloomfield and team are offering a three-course prix fixe menu from noon to 10 p.m. with an optional wine pairing. You can also opt to dine at the bar if you'd prefer to order à la carte.

Fowler & Wells: There's a four-course dinner available at this new restaurant from Tom Colicchio in The Beekman hotel. Thanksgiving from a Top Chef judge is never a bad thing.
