There's a whole pizza world out there. And this week, we stacked up the pies to come up with our favorite 'zas across the country.

In NYC, we couldn't say no to a classic, cash-only spot with fresh mozzarella and tangy tomato sauce—nor to a deep-dish legend in Chicago whose sausage-topped signature still dazzles.

And the hallmarks of great L.A. pizza? Charred in a wood-fired oven and crowned with super-fresh ingredients. Neapolitan is the name of the game in SF's pizza scene, while Miami's decidedly untraditional pies got us salivating.

So America, are these the best slices?
