Slow Cooker Mulled Cider

Ingredients
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 teaspoon whole allspice
½ teaspoon juniper berries
4 green cardamom pods
2 cinnamon sticks
16 cups apple cider
¼ cup dark brown sugar
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
Directions
1. On a piece of cheesecloth, combine the cloves, allspice, juniper, cardamom and cinnamon, and tie together with butcher’s twine to form a sachet.
2. Place the sachet in a slow cooker with the remaining ingredients and cook on high for 4 hours. Let cool slightly, then serve.
