Sweet Thai Chile Wings

Sweet Thai Chile Wings

Recipe by Nick Bonventre for Mike's Hard Lemonade

Yield: 6 wings

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

Cook Time: 10 Minutes

Total Time: 15 Minutes


For the Sauce:
1½ cups ketchup

1 jalapeño, chopped

Juice of ½ lime

5 tablespoons dark brown sugar

Pinch of salt

3 teaspoons sambal red chile sauce

For the Wings:
6 whole organic wings, shoulder and wing attached

Chopped scallions, for garnish


1. Make the sauce: In a large mixing bowl, mix all of the sauce ingredients together in a large mixing bowl, making sure all parts are integrated well.

2. Make the wings: Dip the wings into the sauce and grill, 10 minutes or until the chicken reaches 165° in the thickest part of the meat, reapplying the sauce liberally when the wings are flipped or turned.

3. Garnish with chopped scallions and serve.
