Tomato and Mayonnaise SandwichRecipe from the Tasting Table Test Kitchen

4 slices white bread
4 tablespoons mayonnaise (preferably Duke's)
1 heirloom tomato, sliced
Freshly ground black pepper
Coarse sea salt
1. Generously coat each slice of bread with 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Evenly layer the tomatoes on 2 slices of bread and season with black pepper and sea salt.
2. Top with the additional bread slices and cut the sandwich in half. Serve immediately.
