This brunch cocktail is soft like Rosemary, dark and handsome like George. Read more about it in our article, "Morning Glory."
Recipe from the Tasting Table Test Kitchen
Yield: 1 drink
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup water
2 sprigs rosemary
2 ounces cold-brew coffee, cooled
1 ounce bourbon
½ ounce unsweetened almond milk
1 sprig rosemary, for garnish
1. Make the syrup: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and the water and stir until dissolved. Remove from the heat and add the rosemary. Let steep for 10 minutes, then remove the rosemary and let the syrup cool completely.
2. Make the cocktail: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the coffee, bourbon, almond milk, ½ ounce of rosemary syrup and a dash of grapefruit bitters. Shake well and strain into a coupe. Garnish with the sprig of rosemary and serve.
