Recipe adapted from Nicole Lebedevitch, The Hawthorne, Boston

Yield: 1 cocktail

Ingredients

2 ounces Cognac

¾ ounce Cynar

½ ounce yellow Chartreuse

2 dashes orange bitters, such as Regan's

2 dashes Angostura bitters

Lemon peel

Directions

In a mixing glass, combine Cognac, Cynar, Chartreuse and bitters. Stir, and then strain into a chilled snifter. Garnish by twisting the lemon peel over the drink to release its oils, then discard peel.
